Mocha Jo’s is a cafe on the Kingsway in Glen Waverley. Arriving for a lunch date with Teagan I was quickly lead to a table.

It was just on midday and still quiet but it soon got busy.

On Monday to Fridays, between 11:30 and 3:00, Mocha Jo’s does a weekday lunchbox wrap. There is a choice of four warps and each is served with chunky chips.

I chose the lamb (grilled marinated lamb, cucumber, tomato, tzatziki, roquette leaves).

And Teagan had the chicken (roasted chicken breast mixed with fresh herbs and mayo, fresh tomato, spinach leaves).

I thought both wraps and accompanying chips were a generous size. I really liked how tightly packedĀ  the wrap was. This made it easy to pick up and eat, nothing was going to fall out.

Both wraps had good flavours and tasted fresh.

The chips were sooooooooooo good. I didn’t really need them but I can’t let a good chip go to waste.

We were happy with our lunch at Mocha Jo’s and I would go back and try something else off the menu.

I agree, a tightly packed wrap is so important, the loose ones where stuff drips and falls out everywhere are just so much harder to enjoy, regardless of how good they taste!

We were at MJ’s just the other week while biding our time waiting for our cat to have an ultrasound … even just for coffee and cake, it’s a great place to go.

P.S. Do we get to hear about US adventures soon? :)

US adventure blogs will hopefully start appearing next week! I wrote a list of the posts I want to do last night (there a few!) and will try and start writing them in the next few days.

  2. I have only been to Mocha Jo’s at night, so it’s great to see that they have this cool lunch deal!

  3. Yay for your review! I’m planning to finally eat there next week so it’s good to have some up to date information; I’ll definitely be getting those fries :)
