Hello all, The Mole here, brother of Em, and proprietor and head chef of Casa De Mole. I am doing a guest review for Hold The Peas about a recent six course degustation I was fortunate enough to attend at Meadowbank Estate in Southern Tasmania.
Michael Mina at the Bellagio is located on the ground floor tucked in behind the conservatory and botanical garden.
Twist by Pierre Gagnaire is the only American restaurant by the French chef and some think it is controversial that he chose to open in Vegas instead of somewhere like New York.
The Restaurant at Meadowood recently earned the coveted three Michelin stars under the reins of chef Christopher Kostow. According to my research, Chef Kostow is one of only a handful of American-born chefs, and third youngest chef ever to receive three Michelin stars (he wasn’t even 30).
Happy Birthday to J! One of the reasons we were travelling when we did was to celebrate J’s birthday and while we celebrated all throughout our road trip, today was the actual day.
Fenix is Gary Mehigan’s (of Masterchef fame) restaurant on the banks of the Yarra in Richmond.
Attica is Ben Shrewy’s award winning restaurant in Ripponlea, an inner suburb of Melbourne. It has been named restaurant of the year by The Age Good Food Guide, has three hats, and is currently ranked 53 in San Pellegrinos’ top 100 restaurants.

Cutler and Co is Andrew McConnell’s restaurant and bar in Gertrude Street, Fitzroy. It can be hard to get a booking, which was one of the reasons J and I were there on a week night.
